Mr. Daryl Schoolar is a Senior Analyst within the Networking Group at In-Stat. At In-Stat he contributes to both the “Service Provider Networks” and “Wireless Broadband Evolution” research tracts. His primary focus in those two areas is carrier broadband infrastructure.

Before joining In-Stat, Daryl worked at Cable & Wireless USA, where he was Manager for Marketing and Competitive Intelligence. In that position he worked with both product management and corporate executives to develop the company’s strategy for its networking services - including dedicated Internet access, Web hosting, Frame Relay, Private Line, ATM, IPVPN, and voice. He also assisted the company’s Legal Department in evidentiary research for Merger & Acquisition-related government proceedings. Mr. Schoolar also assisted the company’s sales team during the bidding process. In addition, Mr. Schoolar has experience in the competitive energy market. In that field he worked in sales and marketing for APS Energy Services.

Daryl Schoolar is a well-known analyst in the telecommunications industry, and has been quoted in several national publications. These publications include the LA Times, Investors Business Daily, Chicago Tribune, New York Times, Washington Post, Miami Herald, BusinessWeek, and The Economist. He has also been interviewed on CNET Radio, CNBC, and Techtv. Mr. Schoolar has been a frequent speaker at industry events hosted by the United State Telecommunications Association, Telecommunications Industry Association, and the Wireless Communications Association International.

Mr. Schoolar holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech.
