Bryan Van Dussen is responsible for developing and executing In-Stat’s Custom Consulting business, which focuses on providing tailored go-to-market research and consulting services to In-Stat clients.

Mr. Van Dussen also directs In-Stat’s Business Markets research and team of analysts, who provide syndicated research to global carriers, infrastructure vendors, and IT firms on next generation communications and networking services and technologies.

Mr. Van Dussen also takes a lead role managing In-Stat’s relationships with its top clients through systemic efforts to align In-Stat services and solutions to client needs.

Bryan has worked as an industry analyst, industry executive, and consultant in the network and telecommunications industry for 20 years, including 5 years living and working in Europe. He joined In- Stat from Yankee Group where he worked in Senior Analyst and Director positions for a total of 8 years, including 3 years as a European telecom analyst. He has led research across a wide range of topics and markets including telecommunications, data networking, wireless and infrastructure markets.

From 2003 to 2005 he was Director of Yankee's Telecommunications Strategies practice, providing thought leadership and research on the enterprise networking market including research of the VoIP, IP VPN, Ethernet, and managed services markets.

He also has 6 years of operations experience; as a VP of Product Development and Marketing for a start up next generation carrier and as a VP of Product Management for UPC's European CLEC, Priority Telecom.

He started his career as a Principal Consultant with Computer Task Group, helping large education, health care, and government organizations design, procure and implement large-scale private network solutions.

Van Dussen is a widely quoted analyst and speaker for his insights and expertise regarding industry structure and trends. His expertise includes business network services, IP-based services such as IP VPNs and VoIP, and competitive analysis.

Bryan holds a B.S. in Economics from St. Lawrence University.
