In-Stat and EDN Japan Present Microprocessor Forum 2008 – Tokyo
July 16—17, 2008 | Aoyama Diamond Hall | Omotesando, Tokyo, Japan
Forum hosts EDN Japan, a part of Reed Electronics Group, and In-Stat, publisher of Microprocessor Report and part of Reed Business Information in the U.S.—invite you to submit proposals for announcements and in-depth technical presentations at the International Microprocessor Forum 2008, to be held July 16–17, 2008, at the Aoyama Diamond Hall in Omotesando, Tokyo, Japan.
Speakers at MPF 2008 will have the opportunity to participate in the industry’s most important event for launching new processors, systems on a chip, entire systems, and applicable software. With an audience expected to consist almost entirely of design engineers and managers, your presentation must include significant technical detail. It should preferably include new information not previously disclosed. First-time disclosures will be given preference.
With consumer applications driving a majority of the innovation taking place in design processing, we are actively seeking speakers who can provide technical insights into the following product areas that can be applied to digital processing and storage of video, audio, still images, and graphics:
- Multicore processors and enabling technologies
- Breakthrough technologies for future semiconductor design and manufacturing
- Entire dedicated systems, plus overviews of system and application software
- Responses to changing customer preferences: accelerators or programmable processors
- PC and server processors
- Dedicated, embedded systems for home and mobile entertainment electronics
- Entertainment systems enabled by 4G cellular bandwidth
- Low-power embedded processor cores
- High-performance microcontrollers
- High-performance embedded processor cores
- Imaging and video DSPs
- Video-game processors
- Graphic chips that can also be used for high-performance computing
- Systems on a chip (SoC)
