About the Technology Adoption Panel A key component of In-Stat's market intelligence is end-user data. We interview thousands of business end-users of technology each year. Typically, the chief means of gathering this information has been structured telephone interviews. However, we understand that business executives are often unwilling or unable to take time out of their demanding workday to participate in telephone surveys. Therefore, In-Stat often conducts Internet-based surveys. These surveys are typically shorter than telephone surveys, and respondents have the option of taking them when it is convenient for them. This type of research is a powerful tool, especially when there is a group of representative business technology users who can be surveyed over time.
