What is the Technology Adoption Panel™?
The Technology Adoption Panel™ is a dynamic, online panel currently consisting of approximately 18,000 technology users and decision makers interested in contributing their opinions and insights about technology usage and technology issues in the workplace and at home. The panel is comprised of a diverse group of people who represent a wide range of company sizes, industries, and areas of expertise. The diversity of the panel allows us to gather information on a variety of topics from many different perspectives. Back to top
How do I become a member
of the Technology Adoption Panel™?
To become a Technology Adoption Panel™ member, simply complete the brief
(5 minutes or less) online registration survey. When you receive a confirmation
email, click on the link to confirm your registration as a panel member.
At that point, you are officially a Technology Adoption Panel™ member.

There are no costs involved for being a member of the Technology Adoption Panel™. All you have to do is complete your survey. Back to top
How does participating in the Technology Adoption Panel™ benefit me?
In appreciation of your time and effort, upon completing the survey, all active members will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize of $2,000 every 3 months. In addition, all of our surveys offer individual drawings for smaller sums of cash, merchandise or gift cards. Plus, after the close of most surveys, you will have access to executive summaries of the survey results in which you participated. Back to top
How does the quarterly sweepstakes work?
Each quarter, one lucky winner is selected by a random drawing from our active panelists (those who have participated in a survey within that quarter) list. You receive an entry into the drawing every time you participate in a survey, so the more surveys you complete in a quarter, the more chances you have to win. The winner will be notified by In-Stat and will receive his/her prize soon after. Note that winners are responsible for paying taxes on the quarterly prize, so if you win, you will be asked to provide your social security number when we call to inform you that you have won. How much of my time will be required?
You will periodically receive email invitations to participate in our online surveys. You are free to participate in as many of these surveys as you want. Your input is valuable to us and we hope that you will participate in all our surveys; however, if you do not have the time or the inclination to participate in a specific survey, you are under no obligation to do so. How do I complete the surveys?
When we conduct a study, you will receive an email invitation to take part in the survey. Embedded in the text of the email invitation will be a link directing you to the survey. You can either complete the survey immediately or take it at a later time. Back to top
How are my answers going to be used?
The answers you provide will be combined with the answers of other respondents and reported only in aggregate (your responses will never be connected to you or your company). Typically, In-Stat analysts use the data collected in a survey as the basis of a syndicated research report. Occasionally, surveys are conducted on behalf of specific In-Stat clients, and those clients use the resulting data on a proprietary basis. Back to top
Will I receive sales calls as a result of participating?
Definitely not! Your membership in the Technology Adoption Panel™ is for research purposes only. We will not attempt to sell or market to you. If you believe that you are being solicited as a result of your participation, please contact us immediately. Back to top
What if I do not want to participate anymore?
There is an opt-out message at the end of every survey invitation that we send you. The opt-out message contains instructions on how to terminate your Technology Adoption Panel™ membership. If you no longer wish to be a part of the Technology Adoption Panel™, simply follow the instructions. Back to top
How do I update my registration information?
To update your registration information, please click here. To ensure that no one but you can change your information, you will be asked to enter the email address you provided when you registered as a panelist, and you will then be sent an email that gives you access to your registration survey information.
