In-Stat Strengthens Presence in Asia with Hiring of Managing Director in China
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., January 26, 2005 – High-tech market research firm, In-Stat (http://www.in-stat.com), announces today the appointment of Jason Yin to the newly created position of Managing Director, In-Stat China. In this role, Mr. Yin will be responsible for managing and expanding the high-tech market research firm’s business on mainland China, including managing an in-region analyst staff. The firm has already hired a Managing Director for the rest of the Asia Pacific region and has launched 4 new services targeted at specific technologies in Japan, China, India, Korea, and Taiwan.
In-Stat China is a joint venture company formed between International Data Group (IDG) and In-Stat’s parent company, Reed Business Information (RBI), to provide market research following the booming technology markets in China.
Mr. Yin comes to In-Stat from Microsoft China where he was most recently a Licensing Manager in the Enterprise and Partner Group. Prior, he was an ERP consultant for Price Waterhouse China and a Stock Analyst and Investment Banker for China Securities Company. "Jason's significant business experience in management, sales, marketing and financial analysis, both in China and internationally, are ideally suited for this position," says Mark Kirstein, In-Stat’s General Manager.
Mr. Yin holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management in The Netherlands and a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics in China.
