Abstract
Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) continues to expand in select parts of the world. In some markets, such as the US, satellite radio is driving the digital radio market. In the UK, terrestrial DAB broadcasts continue to bring new content that is not available on AM/FM broadcasts. Consumers have noticed and are buying digital radios in increasing numbers. Lower prices are helping more consumers with that buy decision.

The report contains five-year unit shipment, ASP, and revenue forecasts for digital terrestrial and digital satellite radios (including DMB receivers that are not integrated into mobile phones). The Digital radio market forecasts are provided for the Americas, Europe, and Asia. A US satellite radio subscriber forecast and digital radio Bill of Materials are also included.
