| VoIP, Wireless, and Circuit Switched:
The Future of the US Voice Services, 2003-2008 |
 |
This report looks at the US market for
both consumer and business service revenues. Included in this report
are five-year forecasts for switched access lines, cellular subscribers,
and IP telephony subscribers. Service revenue forecasts are also provided
for local phone service, long distance phone service, IP telephony
service, and cellular phone service.
This report also quantifies the yearly switched access line
loss to cellular and IP service. The access line forecast also sub-segments
them between ILEC and CLEC lines, and breaks CLEC out between infrastructure-based
lines and those using UNE-P.
IP Telephony services are sub-segmented between cable operator
PacketCable based services, and those using a hosted service model.
