Abstract
The Integrated Access Device (IAD) market is growing based on carrier sales of integrated voice and data access services. In 2003, worldwide shipments of TDM and packet IADs grew 10% over the previous year. Despite unit growth, price compression and smaller unit configurations kept 2003 annual revenue flat at $207 million. Packet IADs showed significant gains, with the growth of TDM IADs slowing. In this market research report, In-Stat/MDR forecasts that by 2008, packet IADs will constitute 90% of the $266 million IAD market.
