Abstract
DSLAM shipments continued to grow substantially in 2004, but competition also heightened among the multiple vendors of these products. This report provides a comprehensive analysis of the worldwide DSLAM market. DSLAMs examined include dedicated DSLAMs, multiservice access platforms supporting DSL, and next-generation DLCs with DSLAM functionality.
 
 Worldwide DSLAM port shipments in 2004 are described. Shipments are broken out by geographical region, type of DSL, and for IP/Ethernet DSLAMs. Vendor market shares are indicated on a worldwide basis and by region.
