Abstract
This report takes a deep dive look into the wireless trends and wireless expenditures in the US education industry, including both K-12 and higher education. Both wireless voice and data spending is included, as well as challenges, drivers, spending priorities, wireless trends, and much more.

Robust technology, educational applications, advanced telecom/IT services, and “smart” network hardware and management solutions are the fastest growing opportunities in the education vertical, in both K-12 and higher education. Wireless solutions are now being viewed as mobility solutions in the education industry. Schools and universities are utilizing telephony and technology solutions to facilitate teaching, improve communications, and enhance the learning experience. In fact, many schools are expanding classes globally via telecom solutions such as online learning, audio/video conferencing, remote VPN services, and expanding bandwidth to international universities and teaching institutions.
